Project-Based Learning and iPads

Last week, we had a chance to talk about next steps for iPads.  In our blog reading and chats with tech coordinators from local schools, it seems that classrooms across the country are becoming very creative in building projects to build understanding among their students.

We absolutely adore a blog called Langwitches... we've been inspired by it constantly since we discovered it last year.   Blog author Silvia Rosenthal Tolisano recently created a guide to iPad Apps and Activities, to include suggestions for creating Infographics, Documentaries, Tutorial Designers, Book Recommendations, eBooks, Interviews and Comic Strips.  It's a treasure trove of ideas.  The link to it can be found here, but we have included pictures of it below.

Please take a few minutes to look at the possibilities for your iPads that you may not have yet considered.  Catherine and I would be more than happy to work with you to create a project to inspire your kids... and come into your classroom to help implement it!
